Alienation

A small poem from the heart

my heart has a hole

in the shape of you both

some days are so dark

and lacking in hope

my faith is strained

and my energy drained

and yet; somehow and someway

your light shines my pathway

my pathway home to you

where we all belong

together again

this time with no pain

---

no pain and no tears

seldom nightmares, nor fears

i plead with my Lord up above

that he can make you feel my love

---

I hope you can feel it

from far over here

someday very, very soon

mummy will hold you so near
